Stratification and Landscape | SWAB 2025
Stratification and Landscape brings together several works by Marco Noris from the last seven years, connected by a shared inquiry: how we look at and represent landscape. The pieces oscillate between traditional horizontality and an almost satellite- or drone-like verticality that dislocates the human being from the territory. The layers in the works evoke the stratification of time and space and act as a transition between these two perspectives. Walking remains the aesthetic and reflective tool that runs through Noris’ practice.
The series is presented within the EPHEMERAL programme, at stand EPH3, as a proposal by Piramidón, Centre d’Art Contemporani.
